There is a leadership principle that I call, The Principle of invitation. The job of a leader at any level of leadership is to invite people up. As a Pastor and leader I'm obligated spiritually to create an atmosphere that allows men and woman to maxize their potential. First things first though. Before you can maximize someones potential you must first see the potential that lies deep within. If you want a positive return on your leadership efforts than learn to invest into the potential of others. The potential pool is always larger than the qualified pool. My daily prayer as a leader is, "Lord give me your eyes that I may see what you see in others". It's amazing how a simple prayer like this blows the doors of opportunity wide open. When we invite people up were actually inviting them to step into their destiny. So look arround, it's amazing what you may see with a new set of eyes. Lead well!
