Post Christmas Blues

Another Christmas has come and gone. I have to admit that I’m a bit sad. I love everything about the Christmas season, especially the down time with family and friends. Oh yah, the food is great to. There is something in the Christmas air that causes me to reflect on another year that sped by and to refocus on the new year just around the corner. As I sit here typing these brief thoughts I am so filled with anticipation and a renewed hope for 2008! I have great news for those of you like myself with a small case of post Christmas blues………If history repeats itself we will blink and find ourselves preparing for yet another Christmas wondering where the time went! Besides, in just a few short months Wal Mart will be getting out all of their Christmas decorations.

Woe, Woe, Woe! I found your blog-site while visiting your church website. I am alarmed!

One wonders what direction this is headed. The content is alarming and cyclical.

What is written here need not be the business of an outside audience. The content here represents a disgruntled persona with frustration and limited experience. Despite the struggles of Christian leadership; one ponders what leads a person of leadership status to post content upon an Open blog: Inner-woes, Isolation, and Rebellion?

The material here remains: Inconsistent, Unsubstantiated, and reflects Shame-based hurt. Each characteristic clearly represents qualitative hurt measured by the material submitted the last six months. I appreciate your transparency. But it lacks true accountability and direction.

Wow! People have to much time on there hands. lol. According to the last statement we the church do not understand what passing Judgement is? Pastor Fruit speaks for itself and we have seen the fruit of your life and ministry it has not been out of frustration or rebellion!According to that last comment surely the person does not know you if they did then they would not post anything of this sort.Love you and you and your wife have impacted our lives and many others. I think we need to do a series on what Judgement is?

    Hello all.
To the Anonymous poster, you make the statement about the lack of accountability, if everything is in the open for the church body and leadership to see, how does that lack accountability? To the contrary it leads to greater accountability, because of the transparency.

This should be something more leaders should do, but we all we all know will never happen because there always has to be a superiority level maintained through separatist procedures keeping those in leadership removed from "lay people".

Anonymous, in your transparency you showed that you are a judgmental person, but sometimes that is not a bad thing. There can be a lot of growth in transparency. Needs, shortcomings, dreams, and strengths can all be revealed when you are transparent.

    God Bless
    Ron
