Life is a continuous series of seasons. One thing I know about seasons is, they change! They come and go. Some seasons last much longer than others. Usually we have no control over the seasons, we kind of just find ourselves in the middle of one.

Another thing I have learned regarding seasons is, every season has its purpose! Recently I have gone through a season in my own life that I am sooooo glad is coming to an end. Going through this particular season wasn't easy for me, in fact I didn't like it. But as this season comes to an anxiously awaited end I am becoming increasingly thankful for this season! I am looking back and with clarity I can see the purpose that this season had in my own life. Infact, this season was a necessity for me as a leader to get myself and those I lead to the next level.

It was a season of definition. A season of becoming the clay on the potter's wheel. With both hands God was daily shaping me and reshaping me on His wheel until finally I knew who I was but more importantly who I wasn't as a leader. This God ordained season had served its purpose!

You'll find Gods purpose in every season if you look hard enough. So, embrace each season with expectancy, expecting to grow, expecting to be shaped, and expecting to bear fruit!
