I heard on the news this morning that Obama Has a volunteer team of 1.5 million people that have been hitting the streets day and night, knocking on doors and passing out flyers! Wow! Why would anybody work countless hours for free, sacrifice family time, sacrifice sleep, sacrifice finances and even sacrifice reputation? Simple........ Extreme passion and belief in their cause. These people are passionate about what they believe in. They are radicals for their movement. When interviewed they were excited and joyfull about what they were doing. I think it's the same passion and belief that drives the Mormon's and the Jehovah Witness.

What would happen if the Evangelical Church was driven by the same level of passion as thoughs above? What would happen if the church  was truly moved into action because of what she believed in? If we truly believed that people in our cities were going to hell, life could not go on as usual! But sadly, it does for most. Could you imagine what would happen if Obamas volunteer team got saved and their mission became the great Commission? The level of sacrifice for the Great Commission would sky rocket! I'm not voting for him, but man, the church including myself can learn a lesson or two from his team! 

My prayer is this........Lord let our passion for you and belief in you evolve from just words into radical action!
