Small thinkers usually trust in their own abilities and provision more than God!
Small thinkers stay small because they can manage small.
Small thinkers often times are control freaks. As long as it’s small they can control it!
Small thinkers in any organization are a potential cancer and health hazard to its future growth.
Small thinkers have a place in the organization just not at the top where BIG decisions are being made.
Usually small thinkers have more opinion than they do fruit.
Small thinkers are frustrated by big thinkers.

How to live life @ The Next Level……

Life @ the Next Level is a Choice. This is the starting point. I have to make the personal choice to do whatever it takes to get to the Next Level.
I have to have the proper perception of who the Father is. The Next Level is for me and it is for you despite what the enemy may whisper in your ear! A shift in perception starts with a shift in our mindset. This happens through the transformation of our minds. We must merge our mind with His! God created you to live at the Next Level, He created you to prosper in every area our life!
You have to get a vision for the Next Level. We have to get a vision from God for the area we desire to go to the next level in. You have to see it before you can SEE it! Good is not good enough when God says it can be great. Don’t settle for anything less than His best. The moment we stop growing is the instant we start dying! Get vision!!
Write out the vision! Write it down! Doing so will allow to strategize and plan. If you write it down you’ll recognize it when it comes to pass! Be an excellent steward of your God Ideas.
Make Next Level Choices. Make sure your choices point towards your Next Level!
Speak to the Next Level! Words create worlds. You can speak to your present reality or to your Next Level. It’s our choice. Speak well…….
You have to sow into your Next Level. There is no way around it, you have to sow seed into your next level. If you seed it you’ll see it! If you have seed in the ground assuming it’s good ground you can expect your Next Level to break ground in its due time!

The Next Level Creed:

I am a child of the most high God, the creator and the master of the universe. I am an heir to His Heavenly throne. His Kingdom is my inheritance. Because of my Heavenly Heritage I choose to refuse the subtle temptation to settle for a good, average, status quo, mediocre, impoverished, ordinary, middle of the road, run of the mill, second rate, anything less than His best kind of life.

Because my Father is who He says He is and I can possess all that He said I can have I choose to live my life at the next level. Because of my Heavenly Heritage and my place in His Kingdom I strategically choose daily to embrace the great, victorious, prosperous, blessed, favored, thriving, successful, preferential, privileged, triumphal, NEXT LEVEL LIFE that my Father has preordained for me to live!

It’s been a day or two since I’ve posted. So I thought I’d throw down a few things that have been racing through my mind…….

I am being stretched to the max as a leader. I think I like it!! As the old saying goes……”no pain-no gain”.
I feel like The Life Church is on the verge of something HUGE! There is a new expectancy in the house!
My prayer life needs to get more audacious! No more small prayers!!!!!!
I see evidence that the enemy can’t stand what God is doing @ TLC.
TLC needs to become a house of prayer!
Loving my family more than ever! This is a great season of life for me. Nate, Nick, and Noelle make everything worth! All that I’m doing today is for their tomorrow!
Can’t wait to get back on the road and start speaking again!
The Stockton Dream Center is on the verge of exploding!! So proud of what Jeremy and the team are doing!
I think I found a publisher for my book. We’ll see. Let the writing begin!!
God is speaking louder and more clearer than ever!!
Obedience is everything at this point of the game.
Revelation always precedes invitation! I’m in a season of revelation so think God is getting ready to invite me to do something HUGE!! Can’t wait to find out! Whatever it is bring it on!!

What a great day at TLC today!
I need to pray much larger prayers! My prayers must match my confessions of who I say He is!
A few months ago God told me my prayer life was insulting Him.......OUCH
I need to pray like I actually believe my God parted the Red Sea and caused the sun to stand still.
All things are possible!
For such a time as this is echoing in my spirit!
A few more pieces to the puzzle still needed, but i'm convinced God is already working it all out!
I have truly never been more excited!
We have some of the greatest people at The Life Church! Our folks are crazy and I love them!
Sat through the Life Support class today. Jeremy knocked it out of the park! I was so impressed with the content and presentation! We are truly building a culture of servant hood! Love it!!
The worship team was at a whole notha level this morning! Hands down that was my all time favorite set! I hope our folks know how good wee have it. I may pull the Pastor card and have them do it again next week
People need to stop taking their tithes on vacation with them.....Just sayn.
I feel better now after the comment above.
Numbers were good today considering were in the dog days of summer!
Went to Boomers with our youth this afternoon. Those kids have some crazy energy! Juan and Pete are such a blessing! The whole youth staff did a great job! Thanx, you guys are the best!
Laurie is at Ladies night out and i'm holding down the fort...... kind of!
I have a huge week ahead of me. If you're reading this please throw up some extra prayers.

I'm sitting here excited out of my mind about all God is doing @ TLC!!!!
I am really enjoying the series we're in, "In Times Like These". God has revealed Himself to me in knew ways, that's always good!
I feel like there has been a spiritual shift in the atmosphere!!
I'm starting to see the BIG picture of all that God is wanting to do in me and through me!!
Understanding the above explains the many, many, many test I have found myself taking over the past 4 years.
Right people, right place, right time!! Heavy enfaces on RIGHT PEOPLE!
This is the season to dream BIG!
What God is about to do @ TLC is going to blow our minds!! Can't wait!
God is stretching me like never before!
The fact that I am sitting here typing this proves that God is Jehova Jirah! He is my provider and He always makes a way!!
Small thinking is a sin!! So surround yourself with BIG thinkers! Seriously.
I have this feeling that God has us exactly where He wants us!
God shines the most in our darkest days!
I pray The Life Church never becomes complacent!
God has given me a glimpse into our future and lets just say that our greatest days are still before us!!!

Leader Maturity

A mark of a mature leader is his/her ability to take ground and advance in any season. Despite of how they feel. Despite of what they have or don't have. Despite of any inconvenience. Despite of what the future may look like. Despite of what the present may feel like. Despite what the popular opinion polls are saying about your decisions. DESPITE THE COST!

The Mission must be LARGER than the leader's current reality! The Leader must find a way to get above the moment in order to see the big picture. Failing to do so could be fatal for the leader. To many leaders get overtaken by the moment, loose sight of the big picture "The Mission" and drown.

So if you're feeling overwhelmed by the task at hand don't panic! Take a deep breath! Get into a position that will allow you to see the big picture. You will be surprised by what you see!

Lessons Learned

God is doing so much! Actually He's just doing everything He said He would!!!!!! This season has been a mosaic of emotions, which in the end is going to become an incredible masterpiece! It seems it has been one lesson learned after another. So, here are a few of the lessons I have learned or am learning in this season......... enjoy

The Dream doesn't cost you anything, it's the execution of the dream that cost you EVERYTHING!!!
When you're down to nothing, God is up to something!
When you're down to nothing, just remember that's what God started with!!!
When you're feeling forsaken, you're in good company.........so did Jesus!!
God can be found in any season if we look hard enough!
It's not about how I feel, It's all about who I know! My feelings will deceieve me.
The enemy hates a healthy church!
The enemy hates Vision!
Standing on the word is always right! ALLWAYS
Leading is lonely, very lonely at times!
It's my job as the leader to see what others can't and then have enough courage to take action!
His voice needs to be the loudest voice in my life......
Doing the right thing in the wrong time = the wrong thing. Timing is huge!!!
Who's who! When the water gets hot you find out what's on the inside(s)
Words are powerful. They can build up or break down.
The poverty mindset sucks!!!!!
I'm being shot at because I'm in a spiritual war..........
Regardless of what I may feel or think...........HE IS STILL GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unsafe...........

Safe Christianity does not intrigue me! It never has and I pray that never does! My worst fear is becoming a safe Christian!!!! I want to become an unsafe radical follower of Jesus Christ!

This lifestyle is all throughout the Bible.............

Noah built a boat that would house two of every species to provide shelter from this earth drowning storm that was coming. Problem......It never rained before! Very unsafe on Noah's part!
Abraham left his place of comfort to obey the Lords invitation to go. Problem..... He had no idea where he was going. The invitation did not come with directions. Very unsafe on Abrahams part!
Gideon agreed to fight. Problem........He only had 300 men compared to his opponents thousands. Very unsafe on Gideon's part!
The three Hebrew boys did not comply to the kings orders decreeing it illegal to bow down to anyone but him. They would not bow down to him. The problem........The penalty for such disobedience was DEATH by ways of a furnace heated 7 time hotter than its usual temperature! Very unsafe behavior from these Hebrew boys!
Daniel continued to pray spite the kings decree outlawing prayer. Problem......Punishment for such behavior was the lions den with real starving lions. Very unsafe on Daniel's part!.
Paul being beat to the point of death or so they thought, recoups and goes back into the same city. Problem......They wanted him dead, they already proved that. Very unsafe on Paul's part!
Peter walking on water in obedience to Jesus' invitation to do so. Problem......Peter was 100% human and it is scientifically impossible to do such a thing. Very unsafe on the part of Peter.
Jesus left Heaven to come to earth. Problem.......It cost Him His life. They crucified Him for His obedience. Very unsafe on the part of Jesus.
